The first workshop of the year will be on April 28th, Spring Useful Plants. We'll cover ID, uses, ecology, propagation, cultivation and harvest of a wide variety of edible, medicinal, and craft (fiber, dye. paper, basketry, etc., etc.) plants.

This is seed grown wasabi, so it is not a named variety; the named varieties are selections for larger roots and have to be cloned by tissue culture. They are somewhat more difficult to grow.
