This podcast is a report on my fifty-year (1972-2022) experiment to define and create a “Paradise Garden” as a way to address our ongoing crisis not only at the environmental but also the personal levels.
What might it mean to be a “good human being” within Gaia, the superorganism of which we are a part? I envision Paradise Garden as optimum human habitat and niche.
One goal has been that this project should be relevant to as many people as possible, hence the site is three acres of ’marginal’ land and we have used minimal external inputs like money and fossil fuels. (E.g. no grants)
