Tours

We offer tours of the garden and facilities for $25/hour. Please call in advance.

We are located an hour northeast of Asheville, near Celo.

From Hwy 80S, approximately halfway between Micaville and the Blue Ridge Parkway:
Turn onto White Oak Road from 80S, then turn right onto Shuford Creek Rd.
We are at the end of Shuford Creek Rd. adjacent to the Pisgah National Forest
at the foot of the Black Mountains (Mt. Mitchell).

Accomodations

We offer primitive camping for anyone who wishes to stay the night at Mountain Gardens. Our campsites are available for $10/night.

For more amenities, we highly recommend the Celo Inn, just down the road from us. Also Black Mountain Campground.
